KEY INFORMATION
F-ONE Eagle X V2 2026, UHM Carbon Hydrofoil Front Wing
What we like
- New wingtip profile: Its more neutral design delivers more glide, stronger forward drive, and better control when carving.
- UHM Carbon Pre-Preg construction: Made with Ultra High Modulus carbon fiber that's 1.8× stiffer than standard carbon for maximum stiffness and minimal weight.
- Monobloc technology: The front wing and the fuselage are molded as a single piece, eliminating any unwanted play and offering absolute control.
- Titan 2 connection: With just 2 M8 screws, this ultra-rigid assembly between the mast and the foil provides direct feedback and improved pumping efficiency.
- Wide speed range: Comfortable low-speed take-offs and high top speeds, making it ideal for long-distance downwinders.
- Additional roll: More versatile handling for tight surfing and riding steeper swell on downwind runs.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
New wingtip profile
The Eagle X V2 keeps the recognizable outline of the V1 but features a reworked profile towards the wingtips. By reducing lift at the tips, the foil is more balanced and stable, without generating excessive power there. This results in more glide, stronger forward drive, and higher speed. Pumping is converted more efficiently into forward motion, making long downwind sessions more dynamic and less physically tiring.
Speed and Range
The Eagle X V2 has an extremely wide speed range. Its design allows for easy, comfortable take-offs while also reaching high top speeds. The foil can be ridden very fast or very slow without stalling, which makes for comfortable downwind sessions at a high average speed. Every pump is converted into forward drive, and the glide is so efficient that you stay on foil even if you make a small mistake.
Handling and carving
Despite its aspect ratio of 12, the Eagle X V2 remains agile. Most of its surface area is in the center, which allows for smooth turns. The new profile and more neutral wingtips provide better control and maneuverability. Downwind carving is more progressive and predictable, letting you take on steeper swell. The improved roll makes the foil more versatile for tighter surfing.
UHM Monobloc Construction
The Eagle X V2 is built with Ultra High Modulus (UHM) Pre-Preg Monobloc carbon: the front wing and fuselage are molded as a single piece, eliminating any mechanical joints. The UHM carbon layup is 1.2x stiffer than HM and 1.8x stiffer than standard carbon. The Eagle X's very thin profile requires these stiffer fibers to maintain precision and responsiveness at speed. The TITAN 2 connection, secured by two M8 screws, completes the setup, adding even more stiffness for a direct ride feel.

FAQ, F-ONE EAGLE X V2 2026
Which front wing size is right for my weight?
For a 70-80 kg wing foil rider, the 700 cm² is an excellent allround choice. If you're under 70 kg, we recommend the 500 or 600. For long-distance downwind sessions or if you weigh over 85 kg, opt for the 800 to 1000. The 1000 cm² is designed for larger riders or very light wind conditions.
Is the Eagle X V2 compatible with my existing F-ONE equipment?
The Eagle X V2 uses the Titan 2 connection system. It is compatible with F-ONE Titan 2 masts (UHM 12, UHM 14, HM 14, Carbon 16) and Titan 2 fuselages. Please note: this connection is not backward compatible with the first Titan system. Contact us to check compatibility with your current equipment.
Which stab does F-ONE recommend with the Eagle X V2?
F-ONE recommends the Monobloc Tail DW 136 XS for front wing sizes 500 to 800 cm², and the Monobloc Tail DW 156 XXS for the 900 and 1000 cm². For an alternative setup, depending on your level and riding style, you can also consider the DW Comp 115 XS (for 500-600), DW Comp 125 XS (for 700-800), or DW Comp 135 XS (for 900-1000). These stabs are sold separately at GlissEvolution.
How does the V2 improve on the V1?
The main improvement on the Eagle X V2 is its new, more neutral wingtip profile. This provides more glide, stronger forward drive, and better control when carving. The speed range is wider, and its handling on downwind runs is smoother and more predictable. The Titan 2 system also replaces the previous connection for more stiffness and precision.
