Surf accessories are essential for successful sessions: fins for performance, a leash for safety, wax for grip, and pads for comfort. Fins
Your choice of fins dictates your board's hold, speed, and handling. The classic thruster setup (three fins) is incredibly allround; a twin (two fins) boosts speed and glide in smaller waves; while a quad (four fins) amps up the grip. Always double-check your board's fin system (FCS, FCS 2, Futures, or Click Tab) before you buy. Leashes
A leash is essential to prevent losing your board and to protect other surfers in the water. The rule of thumb is simple: your leash should be at least as long as your board. So, a 6-foot shortboard needs a 6-foot leash, and a 9-foot longboard calls for a 9 or 10-foot leash. If you're tackling big waves, opt for a slightly longer leash. Wax and Pads
Wax delivers natural grip that you reapply regularly, while a traction pad offers permanent grip once glued to your board. Many surfers combine both: a rear pad for ultimate traction and wax on the rest of the board. Always choose your wax based on the water temperature.

How to choose your fins?
