Choosing Your Front Wing Size
The 725 and 905 are built for speed and efficiency, ideal for lighter riders or windy spots. The 1085 and 1305 are the allrounders, maintaining excellent glide while remaining highly manoeuvrable. The 1595 pushes the aspect ratio to 10.6, prioritising maximum glide over agility. The 2145 features a distinct construction with a very late stall, designed to make dock starts easier and to excel in very light wind.
Paired Aero P Stabilizer
P stands for performance: an increased aspect ratio provides more lift from a smaller surface area, an almost flat profile, and no winglets like those on the C stabs. This design makes the foil feel freer in turns, reduces drag, and maintains high-speed control. Each size is calibrated for a specific front wing: P 165 with the 725, P 180 with the 905, P 200 with the 1085 and 1305, and P 220 with the 1595 and 2145. The Aero AL 3BS aluminium fuselage has a reduced cross-section to limit hydrodynamic drag, while offering increased strength for only a 2.5% weight increase. It features a recessed tail for cleaner water flow over the stab and large cutouts at the front to lighten the assembly. At 66 cm, this is the allround length in the range, delivering great handling, a smooth glide, precise control, and impressive pop. It's perfectly suited for wing, Kite, prone, SUP, pumping, and downwind riding.
Compatibility, Assembly, and Care
The AL 3BS fuselage is compatible with Duotone front wings from the SS24 collection onwards and all Fanatic Aero front wings. It mounts directly onto Duotone D/LAB, SLS, and AL 3BS masts (including QM masts), and Fanatic carbon masts. For assembly, we recommend tightening the M8 screws for the front wing and mast to 15 Nm, and the M6 screws for the stab to 10 Nm. Aluminium parts require simple care: always disassemble your foil after each session, rinse with fresh water, dry all contact surfaces, and lightly grease the screws to prevent seizing.
