This design ensures the front wing provides immediate support during takeoff and dead-starts, despite its technical profile. Sabfoil designed the KL1300-FCM-SDW360-75/BB as a specialized tool for advanced riders seeking a more reactive, speed-oriented feel beyond the classic "glider" experience. It's built for high-cadence pumping, dock starts, downwind, SUP foil, and wing foil. Its high-aspect front wing (AR 12.3) and thin, race-derived profile make this a technical, performance-focused kit.
The Razor range focuses on glide, pumping, and downwind, with front wings from 648 to 1069 cm² (AR 8.4 to 11), and often includes surf foil among its disciplines. The Leviathan range takes the high-aspect concept further with larger front wings (1330 cm² for this 1300 model) and an ultra-thin, race-derived profile optimized for pumping speed and high cadence. The Leviathan is much less versatile for surf foil (not a listed discipline) but excels in pump foil and downwind.
Sabfoil offers three variants of the Leviathan kit, all in the Modular Full Carbon configuration: Leviathan 1300 (this kit, €1989), Leviathan 1400 (KL1400-FCM-SDW375-75/BB, €1999), and “The 1350” Leviathan (KLT1350-FCM-325-75/BB, €1999). The larger the front wing's wingspan, the earlier the takeoff.
Sabfoil uses "1300" as a naming convention for the front wing size; the actual wingspan is 1280 mm as per the tech specs. This is a common practice in foiling where model numbers don't always match the exact dimensions.
Yes, the kit includes all the necessary components: WL1300/BB Front Wing, Downwind Kraken SDW 360 stabilizer, Piantone Blackbird 75 mast, Carbon Rail plate with titanium inserts (CP02K/Ti), the FC/M Full Carbon modular fuselage, and all required screws and shims (MHQ02, MH144, MH137, MH160, MH171, MH172, MH107, MHW060, and MHW061). The board is not included.
Sabfoil offers the Cover Mast A bag (product code MA021) for the M75/BB mast, which is compatible with the M63K, M73K, M73PLK, M75BB, and M76. For the front wing, Sabfoil offers the Cover Front Wing I bag (product code MA084), which is compatible with the WLT1350/BB, WL1300/BB, WL1400/BB, WL1150, WL1350, WLP1060, WLP1160, WLP1260, and WLP1360.
