DETAILED DESCRIPTION
A foil designed for surf
The SUSHI was born from the desire to create a foil purely dedicated to surf. This foil prioritizes less speed, more roll, and maximum handling, designed to excel in steeper waves and short-period swells.
Every detail has been optimized to offer absolute control in the wave: effortlessly manage speed, stay stable in the foam, and surf directly into the curl. No more long bottom turns to regulate speed, which makes quick cutbacks, incisive snaps, and tight transitions easier and more instinctive.
Maximum roll
The roll characteristics have been pushed to the maximum. Rail-to-rail transitions are instantaneous and intuitive: a simple toe movement is almost enough to engage the foil from one rail to the other.
The ride feel is reminiscent of a traditional surfboard, with healthy, precise behavior and immediate response underfoot.
Aspect Ratio 7.7: The Perfect Balance of Glide and Handling
With an aspect ratio of 7.7, the SUSHI strikes the perfect balance between glide and handling, prioritizing control over pure speed. Thanks to its highly cambered profile, it offers exceptional low-end performance with very consistent power.
Lift is always present, smooth and progressive, providing consistent support throughout the turn. Pumping to get back to the peak is also very efficient and effortless.
Versatile: Wing and Pocket Wing
Whether you're freeflying with a wing or a K-Wing, or going upwind with a pocket wing, the SUSHI maintains high speed and excellent efficiency.
It offers efficient upwind performance, with low drag and easy acceleration without requiring extra effort.
SUSHI or SK8?
While the SUSHI offers a slightly reduced speed compared to the SK8, it's not designed as a replacement. Your choice between the two will depend on the conditions and your personal riding style. When you're tackling steeper waves with shorter periods, and your priorities are control and roll, the SUSHI truly shines.
The SUSHI is engineered to elevate pure surf foil, where exceptional roll and precise control unite with every turn.
