A Pisces-Inspired Design
The deck features a unique design inspired by the Pisces constellation, with a fish tail shape and a wide 10.5" platform. At 29" long with a 15.88" wheelbase, it offers excellent control and stability. This board is built for both casual sessions and heavy use. The deck is made from 7-ply maple. Carver describes it as lively and responsive in the turns, with enough stability to hold speed between carves. Its width gives you plenty of leverage to really dig in your rail and lay down deep carves.
The CX truck system in detail
The CX is Carver's single-axis truck system. Its patented geometry uses a reverse kingpin set at 90 degrees, which allows the hanger to pivot far more than a standard skateboard truck. A precision pivot ensures an immediate response when you put pressure on the rail. Carver compares the feel to a modern thruster surfboard: expect snappy turns, sharp cutbacks, and a fast, progressive ride. With fewer moving parts, it also requires less maintenance than the C7 and weighs the same as a traditional truck. It's factory-fitted with 65mm 83a Roundhouse Slicks wheels, Carver ABEC 7 bearings built right into the wheels, two 3/16" Carver risers (for a total of 3/8"), and 1.25" Carver hardware. Roundhouse is Carver's in-house wheel brand, designed specifically for surfskating: their shape and urethane formula prioritize grip under pressure and a smooth roll over pure top-end speed. Nothing to add or adjust, just pull it out of the box and go skate.
