DETAILED DESCRIPTION
The Electric Acid Deck
This 32.5-inch long by 10-inch wide pintail deck has a 17.75-inch wheelbase. Its eye-catching Electric Acid graphic is paired with a robust construction for long-lasting durability. It's a longer shape, designed for carving. The deck is built from seven plies of maple using the same mold as the Black Label. Carver describes it as a mid-length built for speed, stable enough to push hard yet responsive enough to stay in control. Its pintail provides clean exits from turns and great traction when holding a long carve.
The C7 truck system in detail
The C7 is Carver's innovative dual-axis system. A swing arm and the kingpin work together to create two axes of movement, side-to-side travel and lean, unlike the single axis of a standard truck. A spring in the base compresses through turns and is adjustable with a screw, allowing both axes to be tuned independently. The turning arc is wider than the CX, giving it a broader, more drawn-out feel. Carver likens it to a single-fin surfboard, where pumping comes naturally. This system is the top choice for longboard surfers and anyone prioritizing fluidity. It's slightly heavier than the CX and is paired with a Carver C2 truck in the rear.
Original setup
The board comes complete and ready to ride. It comes factory-equipped with 69mm 78a Roundhouse Concave wheels, integrated Carver ABEC 7 bearings, two 3/16-inch Carver risers (for a total of 3/8-inch), and 1.25-inch Carver countersunk hardware. Roundhouse is Carver's in-house wheel brand, designed specifically for surfskating. Their shape and urethane formula prioritize grip in turns and a smooth roll over raw speed. Nothing to add or assemble, just take it out of the box and go skate.
CX or C7: which to choose?
The Carver C7 system provides excellent handling and a high-performance ride. Paired with the 17.75-inch wheelbase and 32.5-inch length, it makes this a dedicated carving board. Carver sums up the choice between its two truck systems like this: the CX gives a quicker rail-to-rail feel, while the C7 provides that smoother, more drawn-out surf-style flow. This model is available with both setups. If you're not sure which one is for you, give us a call. We can help you choose based on your riding style, local spots, and surfing background.
