DETAILED DESCRIPTION
A Three-Part Design
The Mini Pod is based on three elements. The Inner Pod is mounted once to your V2 motor using the four supplied M4 x 16 mm bolts. The removable Outer Pod is designed to flex and conform to the shape of your mast, just like the standard pod. Both components slide onto the mast and are secured by an aramid fiber-reinforced EPDM rubber strap (three sizes included). This compact shape minimises the wetted surface area, reducing the drag and turbulence often found with universal mounts.
Truly Universal Compatibility
To achieve universal compatibility without extra adapters, the three included straps have been sized to fit nearly every mast on the market. Most masts use the Medium strap. In addition, the Inner Pod has a 7-position “ladder” adjustment system: once you've chosen a strap, you can move it up or down the ladder to fine-tune the tension for your mast. The Mini Pod is a big step up in performance without the full cost of an integrated mast, keeping in mind that integrated masts still offer the best performance.

Dimensions are a guide and should be measured across the chord of your mast. Since each mast has a unique shape, the required strap may vary. Known case: the AXIS Fatty Mast (150 mm chord) requires the Large strap with the rubber insert removed from the Inner Pod.

Will the Mini Pod fit my mast?
The Mini Pod is designed to fit almost every mast on the market. The three strap sizes, combined with the Inner Pod's 7-position ladder system, provide a wide adjustment range. Most masts will use the Medium strap. If your mast falls outside these dimensions or has an unusual shape, we recommend checking compatibility in person at your local dealer.
Do I need to tape the cable?
Yes. The included mast cable guide helps route the motor cable neatly, but you will also need electrical tape (not included) to secure it to the mast. This is important for a smooth, vibration-free ride and to keep the cable safely away from the propeller. Always refer to the system manual for complete attachment instructions.
What other products should I consider?
Depending on your current setup, you might consider: a V2 High Power motor (if you're upgrading from a V1), a spare removable cable (to try another motor position on an integrated mast), and performance propellers (for a 6% low-end or 10% mid-to-high-end boost) if you're looking for extra gains.
