Want to eFoil without wearing the battery harness on your back? The DUOTONE CRUISE BATTERY BOX MOUNTING SET moves the battery box to the rear deck of the Midfish Air. No more cable between your legs, a much simpler take-off for beginners, and direct access to the battery between sessions.

What we like
- Harness-free battery riding: the weight shifts to the board, freeing your back and shoulders for the entire session.
- Easier take-off: getting on the board, kneeling, and then standing up becomes much simpler without a battery box or cable between your legs.
- Accessible battery: the elevated box at the rear can be handled while standing in the water, without returning to shore.
- Remote antenna: the antenna wire runs through the nose of the board to maintain a stable connection with the remote.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Battery on the board, not on your back
In its standard configuration, the Duotone eFoil is ridden with the battery housed in the eHarness worn at the waist. This is effective for committed riding, but it also means carrying weight on your body and having a cable running between your legs. This kit changes the game: the battery is attached to the rear deck of the Midfish Air, connected to the mast by a short cable. The rider is completely free to move, which makes the equipment much more welcoming, especially for a first session.
Significantly simpler learning
The most delicate phase in eFoiling remains the transition from lying down or kneeling to standing. Without a waist-mounted box or a cable to manage, this moment becomes much more natural: you climb onto the board, get settled, and stand up. The raised box at the back also remains accessible from the water, allowing you to disconnect or reconnect without returning to shore.
Remote antenna and assembly
The box integrates the remote's radio receiver. To maintain a stable connection once the battery is placed at the back, the kit provides an antenna wire that runs through the nose of the board, with its stopper cuff and a spare. The assembly takes just a few minutes: mounting plate with velcro straps on the deck, short power cable to the mast, reusable cable ties to neatly organize the routing.
Who is it for, and what is its use?
This kit is designed for the inflatable Duotone Midfish Air and for relaxed cruising on flat water. It is not intended for surf foil, downwind, or wake foil, where the battery must remain on the rider. It is used with the Foil Cruise mast or the eMast Cruise Set, the eRemote Watch Ring remote, the charger, and Duotone battery packs. If you have any doubts about your setup, call us: we'll check compatibility with your set before you order.
FAQ - DUOTONE CRUISE BATTERY BOX MOUNTING SET
It's exclusively for the Duotone Midfish Air, the inflatable board in the range. The mounting plate and antenna routing are specifically sized for this model.
No, that's precisely the point: the battery moves to the board, so you can ride without a battery harness and without a cable between your legs.
The mounting plate with its straps, the battery box with antenna socket and neoprene bag, the antenna wire and its stopper cuff plus a spare, a short power cable, and reusable cable ties.
No, the kit includes the housing and its mounting. Duotone battery packs and the charger are ordered separately.
It is not recommended. The kit is designed for flat water cruising. For surf, downwind, or wake foil, the battery must remain on the rider via the eHarness.
No, it only takes a few minutes: attach the plate and straps to the deck, route the antenna wire through the nose, connect the short cable, and use the ties to secure everything.
