The Duotone Volt D/LAB 2027 is Duotone's highest-performing kite surfboard for small to medium waves. Sky Solbach developed it with Pedro Matos, Matchu Lopes, and Sebastian Ribeiro. It takes the Volt shape and integrates it into D/LAB carbon construction. This makes it about 20% lighter than the SLS. Expect explosive speed, tight turns, and immediate response. It comes in three sizes, from 20.80 to 24.80 liters.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
The premium choice for average days
The Volt D/LAB is Duotone's best for small to medium waves. It shares the Volt shape, developed by Sky Solbach with Pedro Matos, Matchu Lopes, and Sebastian Ribeiro. The key difference is the construction: carbon, and about 20% lighter than the SLS version.
Low entry rocker and front volume
The low entry rocker, combined with volume under the front foot and ample surface area, delivers rapid acceleration and effortless speed. This holds true even in weak swell or slow sections. The board generates immediate drive and maintains momentum with minimal kite input.
The refined double concave
The double concave hull shape has been reworked to improve grip and precision. It allows for tighter, more controlled turns while remaining aggressive on the wave face. Whether in tight carves or vertical maneuvers, the board does exactly what you ask of it.
Carbon, Innegra, and RMF 3.0
The D/LAB construction layers a +/- 45° carbon, a carbon stringer, an Innegra wrap, and a +/- 45° fiberglass. Innegra dampens vibrations and ensures long-term durability. The RMF 3.0, a Reflex Memory Foam cushioning, absorbs impacts and reduces chatter in choppy conditions.
What lightness changes
Approximately 20% lighter than the SLS, this difference is noticeable in rear foot movement and reaction speed. The board responds faster, transmits more feedback, and causes less fatigue during long sessions. This construction also requires more attention to impacts.
Three similar sizes
At 4'11-inch and 20.80 liters, 5'1-inch and 22.50 liters, and 5'3-inch and 24.80 liters, these are the same dimensions as the Volt SLS. Your choice depends on your body size and style. Duotone announces a technical carry-over and a new color for 2027, as the shape has proven its worth.

Rinse with fresh water and dry in the shade. Its lightweight carbon construction doesn't handle impacts well, so always store it in a bag and avoid placing it on pebbles. Always check your fins' screws before each session.
Add a deck pad, the Duotone Traction Pad Front 2027, and a surf bag. Fins are included. A wave kite completes the setup.
