FAQ, SABFOIL RAZOR 737 BLACKBIRD MODULAR KIT
Sabfoil designed the KR737-FCM-325-75/BB for prone surf purists and wing riders who live to carve. It's designed for surf, wave riding, fast downwind, freestyle, freerace, and prone surf. Expect take-off at 13-15 knots and top speeds of 25-27 knots for an 80 kg rider.
The Balz Pro kits (805/905/965), developed with Balz Müller, are geared towards freestyle, wave riding, and speed, with front wing sizes designed specifically for wing foiling. In contrast, the Razor 737 kit is purely surf- and carve-oriented, using a narrower, high-aspect front wing (648 cm², 8.4 AR) built for deep bottom turns and powerful snaps. It also features a shorter 75 cm mast (vs. 85 cm on the Balz Pro), which is ideal for surf foiling in shallower spots.
The 75 cm Piantone Blackbird mast is more compact, making it ideal for surf foiling and wave riding where water clearance is less of a concern than in open-water winging. This gives you a more direct feel and reduces the risk of hitting the bottom. Its construction is identical to the M85, using UHM Carbon with W-Core technology and a race-proven profile.
The Sabfoil Razor range includes four front wing sizes: 737, 847, 977, and 1077. Each size is available in either an Integrated Backtail or a Modular Full Carbon version. The 737 model in this kit is only available as a modular setup. While the larger front wings (847, 977, 1077) provide earlier lift, they are less focused on radical, top-to-bottom surfing.
Yes, the kit comes with everything you need to assemble the foil: the WR737/BB Front Wing, FC/M fuselage, Flat 325 stabilizer (SF/325), Piantone Blackbird 75 mast, Carbon Rail plate with titanium inserts (CP02K/Ti), and the complete screw set and shims (MHQ02, MH144, MH160, MH164, MH173, MH108, MHW060, and MHW061). You just need to supply the board.
Sabfoil does not list the total weight in its official specs. We will update this page as soon as that information is available. The only component weight provided by Sabfoil is for the M75/BB mast, which is 1.665 kg.
