Sabfoil describes the KBZ-905-385-85/BB as a kit for Freestyle Pro, freestyle, freeride, wave, and Fast Freeride riders. It's mainly for wing foil and surf foil in light to medium conditions. It lifts at 10 to 12 knots and has a top speed of 25 to 27 knots for an 80 kg rider.
Both kits use the same mast (M85/BB) and hardware. The difference is the front wing and stab: the 905 has a 998 cm² front wing (vs 792 cm² for the 805) and a 185 cm² stab (vs 170 cm²). This gives it an earlier lift speed (10-12 knots vs 13-15) but a slightly lower top speed (25-27 knots vs 28-30). Sabfoil aims the 905 at light-to-medium conditions, and the 805 at medium-to-strong conditions.
Sabfoil offers two versions of the Balz Pro 905 kit. The Integrated Backtail (this kit, KBZ-905-385-85/BB) has the fuselage built into the Progressive 385 stab. The Modular Full Carbon version (KBZ905-FCM-370-85/BB) is a modular setup. Sabfoil says both versions have the same performance and price (€1889).
Yes, the kit includes everything you need: the WBZ905/BB front wing, the Progressive 385 stab with integrated fuselage, the Piantone Blackbird 85 mast, the Carbon Rail plate with titanium inserts (CP02K/Ti), and all the hardware (MHQ02, MH144, MH137, MH160, MH171, MH172). You just need to supply the board.
For the WBZ905/BB front wing, Sabfoil's Cover Front Wing H bag (product code MA041) is compatible with the WBZ905, WBZ965, BALZ909, BALZ969, WM899, and WM999 models. For the stab, the Cover Stabilizer A bag (MA037) fits all Sabfoil stabilizers.
