Mourad Gamal, Eleveight Kites Ambassador

My name is Mourad, I'm 44 years old, I live in Nantes, I'm married and a father of three children. I work at the town hall, where I manage public domain occupation. A busy life, but always with one foot in my passion for watersports!

I started kitesurfing in 2018. It was a real revelation. I already loved watersports like bodyboard and jet skiing, but kiteboarding offered me that unique blend of freedom, power, and connection to the ocean. I quickly got hooked and became involved in the community, eventually becoming an Eleveight ambassador right from the brand's launch in France.

What do I love about kiteboarding? The sharing, the friends, the long sessions, the endless progression. I mostly ride at spots in Loire-Atlantique: Saint-Brevin, La Baule, Pont-Mahé. And with the tribe at home, every session has to be well-organized, but as soon as the wind picks up, I'm on my way!

Aside from being in the water, I love creating things with my hands. I make custom wood and resin furniture, unique pieces. And when I'm not in the workshop, I'm often in the kitchen: pastries, desserts, new recipes. I try a bit of everything, always with pleasure and curiosity.

I love learning, testing, making, and sharing. That's probably what also attracted me to Eleveight: a young, innovative brand, close to riders, which I've believed in from the start.
