Jérémy, HB Surfkite Ambassador
About me:
My name is Jérémy and I discovered kitesurf around age 18 in New Caledonia, my home island. After a long break for my studies, I moved to the La Baule region in 2016, and that's when everything really took off again.
I'm an all-rounder in watersports (skate bowl, longboard downhill, snowboard, SUP, surf, wake), but kite has always given me the strongest sensations. Over time, my practice has shifted almost exclusively to strapless surfkite.
To be in perfect harmony with my riding style, I naturally chose the HB Legion kites in 7, 9, and 11 m². They offer incredible depower, ultra-stable drift in waves, perfect precision, and a very clean loop, everything I look for in surfkite.
For boards, I ride the HB Anti II double biax, ideal for our conditions in Loire-Atlantique, and the HB Lafayette when the waves get hollower and more powerful.
I mainly ride between La Baule, La Govelle, St-Brévin, La Turballe, and Pont Mahé. I often go up to Southern Finistère or the Quiberon peninsula to find better waves. When the wind is light in summer, I sometimes switch to foil.
When there's no wind, I still spend as much time as possible on the water: surf, spearfishing, cruising sailboat... As long as it's salty and it glides, I'm there.
If you see me on a spot, come say hi! Always up for swapping gear, sharing a session, or letting you try out some HB gear.
