DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Designed for Freedom
The ROCKET FREE range was developed by F-ONE to meet the needs of emerging freefly and downwind disciplines. In these riding styles, freedom is key: the wing or paddle is only used for take-off before being stowed or flagged out, letting you ride the swells and ocean energy completely unassisted.
HD Foam Carbon Composite Construction
The CARBON version features an HD Foam Carbon Composite sandwich construction, combining high-density foam with glass and carbon fibers. This technology results in an ultra-light and stiff board that’s more resistant to heel pressure and impacts. The optimized weight-to-strength ratio makes this one of the lightest and highest-performing boards on the market.
Superior Pumping Response
The carbon construction delivers increased liveliness and better pumping response. You’ll get an even more direct feel of the foil than with the bamboo version, giving you absolute control even at high speeds. The shape is identical to the bamboo version, maintaining the same great glide and stability.
Elongated Shape for Maximum Glide
The ROCKET FREE DW CARBON builds on the core principles of the MIDLENGTH, such as its natural front-to-back balance, stability, and glide, and pushes them even further. Its longer shape and extended outline increase glide even more. The step tail and kicktail help you accelerate quickly and soften touchdowns.
Stability and Easy Take-Offs
The slightly recessed cockpit keeps you connected to the board without adding excessive thickness. The width-to-thickness ratio strikes a perfect balance between stability and acceleration, even in underpowered conditions. The widened nose and squarer rails enhance lift and forgiveness.
Who is it for?
The F-ONE ROCKET FREE DW CARBON 2026 is for advanced to expert riders looking for lightness, responsiveness, and maximum performance. It’s perfectly suited for SUP foil, or for use with a Pocket Wing or K-Wing. For riders who prioritize comfort and durability, the Bamboo version remains an excellent alternative.

FAQ - F-ONE ROCKET FREE DW CARBON 2026
The Carbon version uses an HD Foam Carbon Composite construction, making it lighter and stiffer than the Bamboo version. It offers a better pumping response and a more direct feel of the foil, while the shape remains identical. The Bamboo version is more forgiving and durable, ideal for riders prioritizing comfort.
Your choice depends on your weight and skill level. For a rider weighing 70-80 kg, the 6'4 (85 L) or 6'8 (95 L) will be suitable. For a heavier build (85-100 kg), opt for the 7'0 (104 L) or 7'4 (114 L). The 7'8 (124 L) is for riders over 100 kg.
Yes, its 90 mm twin-track system is the industry standard. The board is compatible with any foil that uses a four-bolt top plate. The long track boxes let you fine-tune your foil's position.
No, the HD Foam Carbon Composite construction is built to resist heel dents and general impacts, thanks to its high-density foam core. However, like any carbon board, it can be more susceptible to sharp, localized impacts. We recommend handling it with care during transport and storage.
The Carbon version is aimed at advanced to expert riders looking for maximum performance and responsiveness. If you're just starting out in downwind, the Bamboo version is a better choice because it's more forgiving and comfortable.
