Sabfoil presents the M85/BB as a mast for ambitious riders seeking maximum speed and stability, freestylers and wave riders who require instant responsiveness, and foilers in search of the best stiffness-to-weight ratio. The 85 cm length is a versatile option, sitting between the compactness of the 75 cm and the extra clearance offered by longer masts.
Both masts share the exact same profile (chords 148.4 / 131.5 / 120 mm, thicknesses 17.3 / 15.3 / 13.5 mm) and the same UHM Carbon + W-Core technology construction. The key differences are in height: the M85/BB is 850 mm (vs 750 mm) and its weight: 1790 g (vs 1665 g for the M75). The 85 cm mast provides more clearance in chop and swell.
The Piantone Blackbird mast range is available in four lengths: M75/BB (75 cm), M85/BB (85 cm, this mast), M95/BB (95 cm), and M110/BB (110 cm).
Sabfoil lists the following R8 fuselages as compatible: F603K, F653K, F663K, F703K, F713K, F753K, F903K, and F1003K. The R8 connection is fully compatible with the Kraken Modular System.
Sabfoil offers several top plates that are compatible with the Kraken Modular System: the T04K (Deep Tuttle), CP02K/Ti (Carbon Rail Plate with titanium inserts), and P02K (Rail Plate KMS). The Q02K (Titanium Quick Release System) is also compatible.
Sabfoil offers the Cover Mast C bag (reference MA023), which is explicitly compatible with the M85/BB, as well as the M93K, M94K, M95VK, M95BB, M96, and M91 masts.
