The B2 cleverly conceals a full seat harness structure within a boardshort. The result: a fit that perfectly contours to your body, free from the compression points of a traditional harness. Ergonomic leg straps, inspired by climbing harnesses, distribute the load and allow for unrestricted movement. The seat harness design keeps the hook low and the pull close to your center of gravity, even when the kite is at its zenith: less back tension, more stability. It's the ultimate comfort choice for long sessions and riders who prioritize support.
Spectre Bar 2 & Spectre Flaps.
The B2 introduces the Spectre Bar 2, ION's latest generation spreader bar: a refined profile, reduced weight, and remarkable flexibility to adapt to the rider's movements. It comes with an aluminum hook compatible with the Quicklock system. The Spectre Flaps, removable TPE wings, prevent the hook from riding up and enhance both stability and responsiveness during transitions. The detachable Downforce Loop keeps the load distribution low and prevents the harness from riding up, ensuring optimal placement in the wind window at all times.
C30 Buckles & Kiteknife 2.0.
Spreader bar strap adjustments are made via the C30 carbon buckles: precise, lightweight, and easy to handle, even with gloves on. For safety, the B2 integrates the Kiteknife 2.0, a multifunction tool combining a safety knife to cut lines in an emergency, a Torx TX20 key, and a PH3 bit. Practical far beyond emergencies: it also serves for adjusting footstraps and the care of ION's modular spreader bar hook system. Safety is always within reach.

Lightweight yet robust shell-type construction, HD foam padding, and a smart blend of materials: the B2 aims for the best support-to-lightness ratio on the market. The kite leash attachment point, on a D-Ring, can be repositioned to the left or right according to rider preference. The composition (55% polyester, 40% polyamide, 5% neoprene) ensures hold and durability session after session, in a slim, discreet, and streamlined design that doesn't betray the harness hidden beneath the shorts.

The seat harness keeps the hook low and distributes the pull: very comfortable, it's ideal for long sessions, foil, and riders looking for support. The waist harness allows more freedom for the upper body, preferred for freestyle. The B2 is a comfortable and allround seat harness.
Is the hook compatible with other bars?
The B2 comes with the Spectre Bar 2 and its Quicklock-compatible aluminum hook. The ION hook system is modular and adjusts with the included Kiteknife 2.0.
How do I choose my size?
B2 sizes follow clothing sizes (46 to 56), from XS to XXL. If you're unsure between two sizes, contact us: we'll guide you based on your build and riding style.
Is the safety knife included?
