ADVANCED BIG AIR. MASTERED FREESTYLE.
The CORE Choice 7 2026 is the sportiest twintip in the CORE range, built for Big Air and freestyle. This seventh generation introduces an all-new Cartan® TRIAX Carbon construction and a closed torsion box Unibody Edge Light, reducing the weight by approximately 200g compared to the Choice 6. The result is more explosive pop and faster rebound, all while retaining the proven shape of the previous version.
KEY INFORMATION
CORE CHOICE 7 2026
What we like
- Explosive pop and fast rebound: new Cartan® TRIAX Carbon construction delivers powerful rebound and a clean release on take-off.
- Maximum grip on take-off: rail channels and angled fins generate massive edge grip, letting you load up hard before take-off.
- Size-specific tuning: 134/136/138 are pure Big Air machines, while the 140/142 add unhooked freestyle performance with a stiffer flex and a more elliptical outline.
- High-speed control: the multi-channel bottom with center bulge and VEE rocker keeps you riding fast without the risk of catching the nose.
- Lightweight construction: approximately 200g less than the Choice 6, featuring a Paulownia Light core and GreenPoxy bio-sourced resin (35% plant-based).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
The sportiest twintip in the CORE range
The Choice is designed for riders who chase height, performance, and style. It offers exceptional grip and powerful loading before take-off, generates high line tension, releases cleanly from the water, and remains controllable at high speeds and through powered landings. It is CORE's benchmark board for committed Big Air and confident freestyle.
New Cartan® TRIAX Carbon & Unibody Edge Light construction
The major new feature of the Choice 7 is its Cartan® TRIAX Carbon construction: a composite combining 30° carbon layers and a 0° unidirectional layer for powerful rebound, faster reflex, and a sportier feel. The new Unibody Edge Light, using a process from the Fusion 7, completely wraps the wood core with carbon before the ABS rails are applied in a closed torsion box. This significantly reduces weight while increasing torsional stiffness. The result: about 200g less than a Choice 6, more pop, and more control.
Multi-channel bottom, tucked under rails, and VEE rocker
The multi-channel bottom with its center bulge guarantees grip and control in all riding situations: solid edging, high speed, and smooth landings in chop. The rail channel geometry automatically creates a 7° fin attack angle and, coupled with the angled fins, delivers massive edge grip to load up hard and explode off the water. The tucked under rails maximize grip for boosting higher, while the re-worked VEE rocker keeps the board fast without the risk of nose-diving. The 1.5 mm dome deck with continuous mono concave and the 7° beveled deck increase longitudinal stiffness, minimize reverse flex on hard landings, and help the board resurface instantly after a landing.
Size-Specific Tuning
The shape and rocker have been individually adjusted for each of the five sizes to optimize them for their intended riding style. The 134, 136, and 138 are 100% Big Air oriented: maximum edge grip and explosive pop. The 140 and 142 add a focus on unhooked freestyle, with slightly stiffer flex and a more elliptical outline to make handle passes easier. One core design, intelligently adapted for each rider's build and style.
