The Noseless Concept
The Klokhouse Noseless is based on the legendary shape of Appletree's high-performance Klokhouse surfboard, but with the nose removed. The result is a lighter board for faster rotations and a compact size that fits into most standard kite bags. Performance remains almost identical to the full version, with the same flex, weight, and ride feel as a true surfboard.
High-performance shape
The shape is inspired by a high-performance shortboard, with a slightly generous width in the center to make it accessible for intermediate riders. The rocker is pronounced at the nose and flattens towards the tail for early planing and great upwind performance. The bottom features a balanced single concave throughout its length for maximum drive.
Rails and Tail
The thin to medium rails ensure solid grip and precise control at the high speeds typical of kitesurfing. The particularly thin squash tail offers optimal contact with the water and an unparalleled feel in turns. The thruster setup (3 FUTURES fins) guarantees a perfect balance between handling and hold in the waves.
White Line Construction
The White Line range features Appletree's best-selling models in a proven standard construction. The exclusive 50K closed cell foam core is wrapped in a hex-skin sandwich: a structural fiberglass layer, a flexible hex-skin honeycomb, and a 45° outer layer. The bottom remains without honeycomb to preserve maximum flex. An additional reinforcement under the front foot completes the layup.

The Klokhouse Noseless is designed for kitesurfers who want a real surf feel in the waves. It suits intermediate to expert riders. The 5’0” is ideal for riders under 70 kg, the 5’2” for those from 70 to 85 kg, and the 5’4” for riders over 85 kg.
The shape is exactly the same. The White Line features the standard hex-skin construction in a white finish, includes a deck pad, and is ready to ship. The Custom version allows you to choose your own colours, reinforcement options, and dimensions, with a lead time of around 8 weeks.
Chopping the nose makes the board lighter, reducing swing weight for better manoeuvrability and easier turns. It's also very practical: the board fits into most standard kite bags, which makes travelling much easier. Wave performance is almost identical to the version with a nose.
The board comes with FUTURES boxes in a thruster (3 fin) setup. Fins are not included. We recommend FUTURES fins designed for surfing, like the F4 or equivalent. Contact our team for personalised advice.
Yes, the hex-skin construction with 50K foam is specifically designed for wave kitesurfing. It's more than tough enough for daily use in the waves. Minor heel dents may appear over time; this is normal and does not weaken the board.
