The Element by ION
ION designed the Element for riders who love being in the water and don't need much to have a great time. This wetsuit is flexible and robust, with some of the most technical details from the collection. It is also elastic. The ION Element 5/4 Back Zip men's 2023 is the full 5/4 back zip version from the 2023 vintage, now a discontinued model at ION. You can find the current Element available online alongside it.
Linings
Hot_Stuff 2.0, ION's most elastic thermal lining, covers the back and torso, delivering warmth, flexibility, and comfort. Silk_Stuff on the chest, shoulders, and arms ensures a comfortable fit and excellent elasticity for your shoulders.
Robustness
The nylon exterior is protected with Supra_Tex. Critical seams are reinforced. They feature glued blind-stitched or flatlock construction, plus reinforced stress points.

This wetsuit is perfect for the kiter, wingfoiler, or surfer who wants a flexible, strong, no-frills wetsuit with a back zip. A 5/4 is the ideal winter wetsuit for the Atlantic coast, especially when you add boots, gloves, and a hood for those chilly, windy days.
The ION size guide is higher on the page. It provides height and weight for each size, as well as chest circumference. A wetsuit should fit snugly when dry, with no air pockets. If you are between sizes, call us.
It has the same range and spirit: flexibility, elasticity, and robustness. The 2023 is a previous vintage, end-of-line at ION. The Element from the current collection is online next to it.
Rinse it with fresh water after each session, inside out. Let it dry in the shade on a wide hanger. Never dry it in the sun or on a radiator, and never fold it wet in a bag. Close the zip before hanging it, and rinse the pull tab. Sand in a zip is what wears it out.
