The ION Amaze Core 5/4 Back Zip women's 2023 is the 5/4 back zip fullsuit from the Amaze Core series. ION designed this women's range for superior performance at an affordable price, with a simple construction that makes it versatile. This 2023 vintage is an end-of-series model from ION; a newer model is also available online.
Warmth: Hot_Stuff 2.0 and Plasma_Plush
The torso and thighs are lined with Hot_Stuff 2.0, a highly elastic thermal lining that keeps you warm in key areas. In the back, the Plasma_Plush fleece dries quickly and blocks icy wind. On the chest and shoulders, the thin and silky Silk_Stuff allows for free movement, as does the material on the arms.
Cut and seams
Seamless shoulders and few panels: ION reduces the number of seams for greater freedom of movement. The seams are glued blind-stitched, with flexible tape at the knees and crotch, and stress points are reinforced. The shins have thin padding; the legs have reinforced drainage holes and separate straps.
For what conditions
A 5/4 fullsuit is perfect for winter on the Atlantic coast, from December to March, especially with a hood, boots, and gloves when the northeast wind picks up. Black is available from 34/XS to 42/XL; Light Olive and Tropical Palm Glitch are available from 34/XS to 40/L.

FAQ - ION AMAZE CORE 5/4 BACK ZIP WOMEN'S 2023
This fullsuit is for riders who hit the water from December to March and prefer a back zip they can close themselves. The Core series focuses on warmth and durability at an affordable price.
The ION size guide higher on the page provides height and weight for each size. It also lists chest circumference. A wetsuit should fit snugly when dry, with no air pockets. If you are between sizes, call us. The 42/XL only comes in Black.
Rinse it with fresh water after each session. Turn it inside out and let it dry in the shade on a wide hanger. Never dry it in the sun or on a radiator. Never fold it wet in a bag. Close the back zip before hanging it and rinse the pull tab. Sand in a zip is what wears it out.
We are a Kite and wing shop in Pornichet, on the Atlantic coast. We also sell Surf gear. We ride all year in water that drops below ten degrees in February. We wear ION wetsuits before selling them.
