The 2025 edition of the Amp series
The 2025 ION Amaze Amp 6/5 Hood Front Zip women's fullsuit is the 6/5 version with a front zip and integrated hood from the Amaze Amp series, part of the 2025 winter collection. This is ION's most elastic series. While the 2027 model is also available, the 2025 stands out with its specific linings: Hot_Stuff 2.0 on the front, Plasma_Plush 2.0 on the back, and Silk_Stuff on the shoulders and arms. This model is now end-of-series at ION.
Elasticity: Max_Flex, Silk_Stuff, I_Foam
The recycled Max_Flex outer lining covers the chest and shoulders. It also covers the neck. ION states it provides 30% more flexibility and quick-drying properties. Inside, the Silk_Stuff on the shoulders and arms allows for free movement. Beneath these linings, the low-density I_Foam neoprene contains oyster shell powder, a filler ION uses for insulation. The shoulders are without a seam, and the number of panels is reduced.
Front zip, watertightness, and seams
Entry is through a diagonal zip on the chest. It opens to the left and closes to the right with one hand, and a soft cord adjusts the flap. Silicone prints on the closure and arms minimize water entry. The legs also have these prints. The seams are glued and blind-stitched. They are then taped with a flexible band across the entire inner surface, with reinforced stress points. The arm and leg edges are fused. You'll also find reinforced drainage holes on the chest and legs, a key pocket with a loop, a replaceable cord, and separate leg straps.
For what conditions
This is the warmest fullsuit in the series, designed for the coldest winter waters, long sessions, and blustery northeast wind days. Pair it with boots and gloves for ultimate warmth. When the water temperatures rise, the Amaze Amp 5/4 Back Zip offers sufficient warmth. Available in four sizes, from 34/XS to 40/L.

This fullsuit is for riders who brave the heart of winter for long sessions and need a hood that prevents water from flushing through the collar. For milder winter conditions, a 5/4 without a hood offers more freedom of movement.
They are the same series, with the same cut and recycled Max_Flex. The 2027 has different inner lining, with Graphene_Plush 2.0 and Hot_Stuff 2.0 throughout the body, and recycled Eco_Stretch. It also adds the Water_Gate panel behind the back zip. The 2025 keeps Hot_Stuff 2.0 in the front, Plasma_Plush 2.0, and Novaskin in the back. This is a proven winter wetsuit, now an end-of-series item at ION.
The ION size guide, located higher on this page, provides height, weight, and chest circumference for each size. The range spans from 34/XS to 40/L; please note that a 42/XL is not available for this model. A wetsuit should fit snugly when dry, without any air pockets. If you find yourself between sizes, don't hesitate to give us a call.
Rinse it with fresh water after each session, inside out. Dry it in the shade on a wide hanger. Never dry it in the sun or on a radiator. Never fold it wet in a bag. Close the zip before hanging it to avoid deforming the chest.
