The Versatile Foil Drive System
With an optimized blend of power, endurance, and low weight, the Assist MAX delivers longer surf sessions, reliable flatwater take-offs, easy upwind and downwind riding, and unlimited progression in any conditions. It's especially suited for riders under 100 kg on small to midlength boards with their favorite foil: a single system that performs across surf, wing, downwind, wake, flatwater, and light eFoil. It's ideal for those who want more thrust (for heavier riders or smaller boards and foils), longer ride times, and total flexibility in their foiling.
Why a Base Kit?
Three reasons: (1) If you're buying an integrated mast, the Base Kit doesn't include a motor, so you avoid paying for it twice. (2) If you already own MAX batteries and motors and just want to add a system to set up another board, this is the perfect option. (3) For full customization: the Base Kit is an excellent foundation to build from, based on your specific setup. Note: the universal mast adapter is now included in the Base Kit.

Assist MAX electronics housing, motor plug protector with keychain, nose cones A and B, Universal Motor Pod (rear section + short nose + long nose), V3 wireless controller + wrist leash + wireless charging pad + micro-USB cable, universal mast adapter, 23 cm mast cable guide, standard 40V 4A charger, rail foam inserts (×4), nose cone rocker pads (×2), battery grease (×2), M8 and M6 80 mm mast plate bolts, 2.5 mm screwdriver + T-handle Torx T40 and T30 drivers, cleaning cloth, Gen2 carrying case, mounting hardware bag (M8/M6 tee-nuts, M3 bolts), and motor/pod hardware bag + spare parts bag (gaskets, latches, propeller and pivot bolts).
Not included: The battery (with its lipo bag) and the Gen2 motor (with 2-blade propeller / hub and stubbie cooler). These must be chosen separately.
