DETAILED DESCRIPTION
A shape designed for carving
The Rocket Free Surf takes the core principles of the Rocket Surf Prone and refines them for pure carving. Its elongated, narrow outline with a pinched nose and tail minimizes unwanted water contact during turns. The reduced thickness, compared to the Free DW, improves control in flight, while the beveled rails decrease drag during touchdowns and enable more aggressive turns. The result is an agile board that responds instantly to every input, even at high speeds.
Optimized take-off and glide
The straight rocker ensures smooth, consistent acceleration, while the carefully calibrated volume distribution between the nose and tail creates a natural balance underfoot. A slightly flattened nose improves control and pumping efficiency. The rear step and kicktail free up water flow and increase pumping amplitude, so you can stay in flight longer between swells. The widened and redesigned deck offers better foot placement and increased stability.
Premium Full Bamboo Construction
F-ONE uses natural bamboo fibers throughout the entire board, on both the deck and bottom, sandwiched between layers of fiberglass. This construction delivers a remarkable weight-to-stiffness ratio: the 5'2 weighs only 4.1 kg. The Double Bamboo Deck reinforces the stance area with an additional layer of bamboo, designed to withstand heel pressure and impacts, session after session. You'll experience a direct, precise ride feel and total control from start to finish.
Compatibility and Equipment
The Twin-Tracks system, with 90 mm spacing, is compatible with all 4-bolt plate foils. The long track boxes allow you to adjust the foil's position for optimal balance. The board comes standard with strap inserts and rail savers. Models from 71L and up (6'2 to 6'11) include a vent plug to release internal pressure, and the 6'2 to 6'11 sizes also feature a built-in carrying handle.

FAQ, F-ONE ROCKET FREE SURF 2026
Who is the F-ONE Rocket Free Surf 2026 for?
The Rocket Free Surf is designed for intermediate to expert riders in prone surf foil, pocket wing, or K-Wing. The 47 to 91 liter range covers riders from approximately 50 to 110 kg.
What are the advantages compared to the Rocket Free DW?
The Free Surf is more maneuverable thanks to its pulled-in nose and tail, reduced thickness, and narrower outline. It excels in carving and waves. The Free DW prioritizes glide and stability for long-distance downwind.
What sizes are available?
Eight sizes are available: 5'2 (47L), 5'5 (52L), 5'8 (59L), 5'11 (63L), 6'2 (71L), 6'5 (79L), 6'8 (85L), and 6'11 (91L). For an easy takeoff, choose a volume close to or greater than your body weight.
Is the Rocket Free Surf compatible with my foil?
Yes, the 90 mm Twin-Tracks system is compatible with all 4-bolt plate foils, which is the industry standard. The length of the tracks allows you to adjust the foil's fore-aft position.
How do I maintain the Rocket Free Surf?
Dry the board in the shade after each session. Avoid prolonged sun exposure and direct impacts on the rails. Regularly check that your foil bolts are tight and inspect the condition of the vent plug (on 71L+ models).
