KEY INFORMATION
ELEVEIGHT PS V10 2027 - School and Progression Kite
What we like
- Made for schools: Durability, intuitive steering, and predictable behavior. Eleveight sells it primarily to kite schools, which makes it reassuring for beginners learning with an instructor.
- Automatic relaunch: After a crash, the kite repositions itself and relaunches. No long manipulations in the water.
- Wide wind range: Three struts and a hybrid profile mean each size covers a broad range, from 26 to over 40 knots for the 4 m² up to 6 to 18 knots for the 14 m².
- Upwind performance: Eleveight announces remarkable upwind performance, which is important when you haven't yet mastered the technique to hold your course.
- Reinforced construction: X4 and X6 ripstop, triple reinforced seam on the Leading Edge, double reinforcement on the strut heads, German PU strut.
- Short five-point bridle: Only one pulley at the ear and a short bridle mean the kite reacts quickly to the bar. The risk of bridle entanglement is reduced by the 3D deflector.
- Push Lock valve: Simplified inflation and deflation, no screw-on adapter needed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
A kite for learning, not a cheap kite
The Eleveight PS V10 2027 is Eleveight's dedicated model for kite schools. This focus drives every design choice: the kite must withstand crashes, relaunch itself, forgive an over-pulled bar, and go upwind even when the rider hasn't mastered sheeting in. The PS V10 achieves all this with three struts and a hybrid profile, without compromising on strength.
Three struts and a hybrid profile
The three-strut hybrid design gives the PS V10 a very wide wind range and what Eleveight calls incredible upwind performance. The kite maintains consistent traction as the wind picks up or drops, so you won't need to change sizes mid-learning session.
Relaunch and forgiveness
The relaunch is automatic: if your kite goes down, it repositions itself and takes off with the slightest input. Steering is forgiving, and the kite's reactions are always smooth and predictable. This lets you go from your first waterstart to your initial runs without needing to switch kites.
Construction designed for durability
The high-tenacity XT 2.0 fabric handles twisting while maintaining stability and stiffness, with UV protection. The X4 ripstop (4x4 polyester) limits the aspect ratio. The X6 ripstop on the Trailing Edge increases tension and reduces flapping. The Leading Edge closing seam is triple and reinforced (Load Dynamic Triple Seam). The strut heads receive double reinforcement (Strut Force Distribution). The strut is made of German PU, chosen for its weight and durability.
Short bridle, 3D deflector, Push Lock
The short five-point bridle, with a single pulley at the ear, makes the kite more agile. The 3D bridle deflector, redesigned for this model year, reduces the risk of the bridle wrapping around the ear. The Push Lock valve simplifies inflation and deflation. An ultra-light X6 ripstop load diffuser transitions to the Trailing Edge and limits flutter.
Sizes, Lines, and Bar
The Eleveight PS V10 comes in six sizes: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 m². All are designed for 22 m lines. Eleveight recommends the S bar for kites up to 8 m², either S or L for the 10 m², and the L bar for the 12 and 14 m² kites. You'll want the Eleveight CS+ Vary Bar or the CS Auto Bar. It's available in three colors: Light Blue, Orange, and Red. Keep in mind, the price increases with the kite's surface area.

FAQ - ELEVEIGHT PS V10 2027
For beginners, schools, and riders progressing in freeride. This kite is safe, relaunches easily, and offers good upwind performance. An advanced rider looking for jumps or speed will prefer the Eleveight RS or XS. The PS is ideal for learning and your first seasons.
The 3D bridle deflector has been redesigned to reduce the risk of bridle entanglement. The Trailing Edge features an ultra-light X6 ripstop load diffuser. This limits flapping. The rest of the construction, XT 2.0, X4, X6, Push Lock valve, and short five-point bridle, remains unchanged.
This depends on the wind at your spot and your body size. Eleveight's announced wind ranges are: 4 m² from 26 to over 40 knots, 6 m² from 22 to 36, 8 m² from 18 to 30, 10 m² from 14 to 26, 12 m² from 10 to 22, and 14 m² from 6 to 18 knots. On the Atlantic coast, an average rider often starts with a 10 or 12 m². A second, smaller kite is then added for strong wind days. Call us with your weight and spot. We will advise you.
It offers automatic relaunch, a wide wind range, easy upwind performance, and reinforced construction for school use. The forgiving behavior makes a difference for a beginner. The kite does not punish a bar error.
Dry the Front Wing before folding it, in the shade. Never store it wet or full of sand. Avoid leaving it inflated in the sun on the beach. The XT 2.0's anti-UV treatment protects during sessions, not from hours of unnecessary exposure. Check the bridle and pulley from time to time.
Pair it with an Eleveight bar, either the CS+ Vary Bar or CS Auto Bar. Use size S for kites up to 8 m², S or L for 10 m², and L for 12 and 14 m², with 22 m lines. An Eleveight pump is needed, as the kite is sold without one. To start, a forgiving twin-tip and a comfortable harness complete the pack.
