DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Eleveight's Freestyle Kite
The Eleveight FS V8 2025 is the kite Eleveight designed for high-level freestyle riders. This five-strut open-C design is optimized for unhooked tricks and big jumps. It delivers explosive lift and vertical pop, all with stable and consistent handling.
Direct Control
The five-point, pulley-less bridle transmits every bar movement without filter. Pull-to-pull tags let you choose a pivot configuration for livelier rotation, or a tip configuration for more tension and pop. Despite its design, the kite maintains efficient upwind performance.
Construction
The canopy is made from X4 ripstop, which is tear-resistant and features high-temperature UV protection. High-tenacity XT fabric is used for the inflatable structures, complete with an anti-UV coating. XT reinforcements are strategically placed where the canopy typically wears and where the valves are prone to damage. Double reinforcement at the strut head provides a solid frame during turns. The German strut is both light and durable.
3D Deflector
The 3D bridle deflector is a structural reinforcement that reduces the risk of the bridle wrapping around the wingtip. This is a classic issue with short-bridle kites during trick sessions.
The 9 m²
This is the pivotal size in the FS V8 range, which spans from 8 to 14 m². Eleveight states the 9 m² weighs 3.15 kg. This is the ideal size for medium to strong winds for an average rider, and it's the one most often used for freestyle on the Atlantic coast.
