DETAILED DESCRIPTION
A Board for the Entire Spectrum
The Blur is the allround board in the Duotone Surf range. This board covers a wide variety of conditions, from small chop to overhead waves. This is the board to grab when you only want to bring one, or when your spot changes from week to week.
The New 2027 Rocker Line
This is the new feature for this year's model. Duotone has refined the rocker line to efficiently generate speed while maintaining good directional stability. The board remains lively yet predictable when you accelerate along the wave, which is exactly what you want from an allround board.
The Round Tail
The rounded tail increases grip and forward drive. It allows for fluid rail-to-rail transitions and controlled turns in all conditions. This is what allows the Blur to remain readable in big waves, where a wider tail would stall.
SLS Construction
The construction features fiberglass +/- 45°, a carbon T-stringer, and an Innegra wrap. Innegra reduces vibrations and improves durability, which is crucial for a board designed for challenging conditions. The D/LAB version of the same shape weighs approximately 20% less.
The Cork Shock Absorber 2.0
The cork cushioning absorbs impacts and reduces chatter. In choppy water or after landing, it keeps your foot planted and your line clean. On a board used in all weather, this comfort translates into longer sessions.
Longer Sizes Than Its Siblings
The Blur comes in 5'3-inch at 20.77 liters, 5'6-inch at 24.14 liters, and 5'9-inch at 27.83 liters.
