Why switch to 5 lines?
The 5th line runs between the two front lines (power lines) and connects to the middle of the kite's leading edge. This configuration offers three major advantages: significantly easier relaunch, especially for larger kite sizes and in light wind; instant depower accessible at any time; and enhanced safety thanks to the center line safety, which completely kills the kite's pull when the quick-release is activated. The 5th Element is required to ride the Duotone Vegas.
Installation and Compatibility
The kit installs in 3 minutes without tools: the 5th line integrates directly into the Click Bar's existing system. Removing it is even faster, taking just 30 seconds. The kit is compatible with all Duotone and North Click Bars from 2018 to 2025. Two lengths are available: 20/22 m for the Click Bar S and 22/24 m for the Click Bar M. This kit contains only the lines needed for the 5-line conversion; the bar and noselines are sold separately.
5-Line Compatible Kites
Most Duotone kites can be used in a 5-line configuration: Rebel, Dice, Evo, Vegas SLS, Neo SLS, Evo SLS, Dice SLS, Rebel SLS, Juice, and Mono. For each kite (except the Vegas, which is designed as a 5-line kite from the start), a dedicated noseline must be installed on the leading edge. The distinction between a "loaded" and "unloaded" 5th line configuration depends on the kite model used.
