The C7 truck system in detail
The C7 is Carver's dual-axis truck system. A swing arm and the kingpin work together to create two dimensions of movement-lateral travel and tilt-where a standard truck only offers one. A spring housed in the base compresses during turns and is adjusted by a screw, allowing both axes to be tuned independently. The turning arc is wider than on the CX, providing a more drawn-out ride feel. Carver compares it to a single-fin surfboard, where pumping comes naturally.
