The ROCKET FREE SURF builds on the success of the ROCKET SURF PRONE, featuring a long outline that makes take-offs easier, optimized volume distribution, and a carefully calibrated rake angle for perfect fore-aft pressure. Its reduced thickness provides excellent control on foil and remarkable pitch stability.
Optimized Shape for Performance
The straight rocker ensures smooth acceleration, while the beveled rails reduce drag on touchdowns and let you lay into more aggressive, committed turns. A slightly flattened nose improves control and pumping efficiency. The tapered nose and tail enhance maneuverability and prevent the board from catching during deep carves.
Step tail and kicktail
The step tail and rear kicktail improve water release and give you more power when pumping. The deck has been widened and redesigned to improve foot placement and overall stability. The result is a playful and maneuverable board with easy take-offs and excellent glide for linking turn after turn.
Full Bamboo Deck Construction
The Full Bamboo construction uses the natural properties of bamboo veneers, placed between layers of fiberglass, to create a strong, durable, and lightweight shell. The Double Bamboo Deck adds an extra layer in the stance area. This results in a light, responsive, and durable board with a very direct feel from the foil.
