DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Warmth and Thermal Linings
The Seek Amp delivers quick-drying warmth and incredible stretch. The front panel features the highly flexible Hot_Stuff 2.0 thermal lining, while the back is lined with soft, fast-drying Plasma_Plush 2.0 for extra protection from wind chill. In the shoulders and arms, a fine and silky Silk_Stuff lining provides maximum stretch where freedom of movement is critical. This wetsuit is designed for a temperature range of 11°C to 16°C, perfect for your shoulder-season sessions in temperate waters.
Max_Flex Recycled Stretch and I_Foam Neoprene
The super-stretchy, recycled Max_Flex outer jersey is used on the chest, shoulders, and neck, providing 30% more flexibility, quick drying, and maximum comfort. Its diamond-shaped structure makes it more pliable, and the material doesn't absorb water, instead channeling it away to reduce drying time. The rest of the suit uses Eco_Stretch, a durable recycled nylon that doesn't sacrifice performance (black colorway only). The lightweight I_Foam retains more air for excellent insulation and flexibility, and now incorporates oyster shell powder instead of limestone.
Watertightness: Front Zip and Seams
The new front zip can be opened and closed one-handed. A soft Cordlock lets you adjust the front panel with one hand too. Glued blind stitched seams provide durability, while flexible interior taping and reinforced stress points (Maki_Tape 2.0) ensure both stretch and strength. Fused edges on the cuffs and ankles add durability and comfort. To minimize water entry, the suit features watertight silicone prints on the zip, arms, and legs, Seal_Tite on the cuffs and collar, and a Water_Barrier behind the zip.
Fit, Finishes, and Durability
The seamless Sweep_Cut shoulder design and minimal panel layout offer incredible freedom of movement for paddling and turning. Practical features include reinforced Drain_Holes on the chest and legs, a key pocket with an elastic loop, a replaceable drawstring, and detachable leg straps. ION builds this suit with sustainable materials, including water-based, solvent-free Aqua Alpha glue, limestone neoprene, Eco-Carbon Black made from recycled tires, water-saving dope-dyeing, and oyster shell powder. The material blend is 80% neoprene, 10% polyamide, and 10% recycled polyamide.

What size should I choose for the ION Seek Amp 4/3?
Refer to the ION size guide above, based on height, weight, and chest measurement. The black colorway also offers Short (28/XXLS) and Tall (94/ST, 102/LT) cuts for shorter or taller builds. A wetsuit that is too loose lets more water in, reducing its thermal performance.
Is the Seek Amp suitable for wing foil and kitesurf?
Yes! Its recycled Max_Flex lining and seamless Sweep_Cut shoulders offer excellent freedom of movement, making it ideal for wing foil, kitesurf, windsurf, and Surf. The 4/3mm thickness and thermal linings are perfect for mid-season sessions in temperate waters (11°C - 16°C).
What's the difference between the black and blue colors?
Both colorways share the same core technologies. The black version also incorporates Eco_Stretch recycled nylon on the rest of the body, and it's the only one available in Short and Tall cuts. The 732 blue-nights colorway comes in standard sizes up to 56/XXL.
