Kévin, rider Glissevolution à testé la planche de wing Fanatic 2022 Sky 4.8 60L Après avoir eu la board de wing foil Sky Wing 5.0 75L, je suis maintenant équipé avec la Sky Wing 4.8 60L depuis février 2022, je l'utilise comme board unique, de 10 à 35 nœuds.
En résumé
- Pour rappel je fais 67 kg avec un niveau de pratique : freeride, Jibes, tacks front et back side, sauts (riley, 360...), surf.
- Cette taille de board est destinée aux petits gabarits, et/ou pour les riders avec un niveau confirmé.
- Une board de wing foil Fanatic Sky wing avec son shape efficace et super bien travaillée, aux belles finitions, 5kg à la pesée .
- C'est la plus petite avec ce shape, dans la gamme Allround .

After owning the Sky Wing 5.0 75L wing foil board, I've been riding the Sky Wing 4.8 60L since February 2022. I use it as my only board, from 10 to 35 knots.
As a reminder, I weigh 67 kg and my riding level includes freeride, jibes, front and back side tacks, jumps (riley, 360...), and surf.
This board size is intended for lighter riders and/or those with an advanced skill level.
A Fanatic Sky wing foil board with its efficient shape and excellent craftsmanship, featuring beautiful finishes, and weighing 5kg.
Dimensions: 4'8-inch / 142cm - 22-inch / 56cm.
It's the smallest with this shape in the Allround range. This 4'8 is very versatile and is seriously unleashed, super radical, and much more playful than the 5'0 I had before.
I was worried that with a volume lower than my weight and only 56cm wide, I'd struggle to get going. But no problem at all, even in light wind. This 4'8 is very stable laterally for a knee-to-stand transition.
From 8 knots, while standing, the wind pressure in the wing is enough for this 4'8 to stay out of the water.
I even feel like I can get going as quickly as when I had the 5'0. The low-end range is quite impressive.
► Advantages of the Fanatic 2022 wing foil board:
I will reiterate all the advantages of the 5'0 in 75L.
- Super versatile: freeride, jumps, surf, downwind.
- It has a perfect length-to-width ratio, and the hull shape provides excellent glide for takeoff and getting airborne.
- The volume distribution provides good longitudinal stability when standing on the board. Very well balanced. Foot placement feels natural.
- Comfortable deck with a slight concave, which provides good control in turns.
- The pad is a huge asset for me; it's firm and grips perfectly underfoot.
- Top-notch strength and finish.
- Double handle on deck and hull shape, perfect for handling on land, with or without a foils.
- The multitude of adjustments for the straps.
- Doesn't stick to the water during touchdowns.
- With its 22-inch width, it's incredibly radical underfoot and allows for powerful carving.
► Weaknesses of the Fanatic 2022 wing foil board:
Honestly, I can't find any; it perfectly meets my expectations.

This Sky Wing 4'8 is a real favorite, the best board I've ever had.
While I've ridden all these boards: Fanatic Sky wing 5'0 75L V1, Gong Zuma 6'3 115l, Korvenn, Elix Max 125L, Fone Rocket 5'0 60L, Fone Rocket surf 4'6 33L, Rocket ASC 5'10 110L, Proto North kite race 90L, Takoon Comet 4'10 85L.
It's a superb board, ultra-versatile with an uncompromising shape and perfectly placed volume distribution.
A real treat, the Carbon version must be extra special, for weight savings and even more responsiveness.
By choosing the right volume (rider size and level), the Sky Wing range is perfect for starting, progressing, and pushing your limits.
