DETAILED DESCRIPTION
XTC TEX 2.0 Construction
The GT4+ is part of Eleveight's Plus range. The leading edge and strut are constructed from XTC TEX 2.0, a double-resin fabric that is stiffer and lighter than traditional Dacron, which minimizes deformation under load. The central segments of the leading edge have an additional reinforcement layer of XTC TEX 2.0 to maintain the wing's shape in demanding conditions. The bladder is made from premium German-made TPU.
Canopy and Durability
The canopy uses X4 Teijin ripstop, a high-tenacity 4x4 polyester fabric developed exclusively for Eleveight, offering less stretch and extreme tear protection. X6 Teijin ripstop is used on the trailing edge, wing tips, and reinforcements for clean canopy tension and reinforced profile support. The triple closing seams ensure longevity. The T-centre junction with its exoskeleton improves stiffness and load transfer.
Shape and Performance
The GT4+ has a dihedral structure with optimized angles and wingspan for natural drift and efficient pumping. The refined tip twist and thin leading edge reduce drag for excellent upwind performance. The deep profile enhances low-end performance, creating a wide usable wind range. The redesigned strut features an extended canopy connection for more stiffness and better control.
CS Wing Bar and 2026 Innovations
The CS Wing Bar carbon boom, redesigned for 2026, offers an ergonomic grip that reduces fatigue. Its size is adapted to each wing: 88 cm for the 3 and 4 m², 95 cm for the 5 m², and 105 cm for the 6 m². The handle on the leading edge allows for one-handed control for surfing and downwind riding. A coiled wrist leash is included. The Push Lock valve allows for quick inflation and deflation: push the pin and turn counter-clockwise to inflate, or push down and turn clockwise to deflate.
