Engineered for advanced riders, lighter body sizes, and surf-oriented foilers, the Zapple S is Appletree's compact, high-performance version of the Zapple. Its integrated trench perfectly accommodates the Foil Drive Gen2 or Fusion, while the 100% vacuum-bagged carbon construction with 50K closed-cell foam delivers optimal stiffness and lightness. It's available in three compact sizes, ranging from 29L to 33L.

Next-Gen Trench Board
The Zapple S answers the call from advanced riders seeking a more compact and responsive alternative to the original Zapple. Its design, drawing inspiration from the Zapple's success and refined with the AppleSlice Prone, is exclusively available in performance sizes. This board is not for beginners. It truly shines with a Foil Drive, offering the perfect combination to give you the boost needed for take-off in the waves.
High-performance shape
The ultra-thin profile underfoot maximizes foil sensitivity and turning precision. Pulled-in rails increase control and forgiveness during high-speed turns. The flat center rocker combined with a continuous rail rocker boosts speed and glide while maintaining agility. A slight deck concave improves comfort and rider-board connection.
Foil Drive Ready
The integrated trench, co-developed with the Foil Drive team, eliminates turbulence and houses the battery close to your feet for optimal control. The dedicated signal window in the nose ensures an uninterrupted connection, without the need for a foam insert. Compatible with Gen2 as standard, and Fusion in a custom version with a 10 cm extended trench. Please note: Fusion compatibility results in a 1L volume loss.
Premium carbon construction
Like all Appletree foil boards, the Zapple S uses 100% carbon construction on exclusive 50K closed-cell foam. This foam supports 50.000 kg/m² while remaining light and flexible, and never absorbs water thanks to its closed-cell structure. The FUTURES oneshot foil mount is CNC cut with the board for maximum precision, integrated into a high-density PET honeycomb panel sandwiched with carbon. Reinforcements underfoot prevent heel denting.

The Zapple S is designed for advanced and expert riders, lighter body sizes, and surf-oriented foilers who seek maximum responsiveness. It is not intended for beginners or large foils.
The Zapple S offers a more compact size (4’4” to 4’8”), an ultra-thin profile for better foil sensitivity, and pulled-in rails for tighter, more radical turns in Surf.
The Zapple S is available in 3 sizes: 4’4” (29.6L), 4’6” (31.2L), and 4’8” (33.3L). All at the same price of 1.€899.
In its stock version, the Zapple S is Gen2 compatible. Fusion compatibility is available as a custom order: the mast is extended by 10 cm to accommodate the larger battery. Please note, this results in a 1L loss of volume.
Dry in the shade after each session. Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Store flat in a cool, dry place, ideally in a protective bag.
