The Applino V2 is designed to perfectly match Paulino Pereira's strapless kitesurfing style: explosive and powerful, yet stylish and fluid. It's the ideal board for wave riding and strapless freestyle on flat water. The board is lively and responsive. Some riders find this feel a bit twitchy, but that's exactly what makes the Applino V2 so popular with advanced riders.
Double Grab Rails
The V2 introduces a central channel on the bottom between your feet. This reduces the effective rocker through the board's mid-section and improves its upwind drive. In a carve, the board rides on its rail line, which keeps a more pronounced rocker for tight turns in the pocket. The double grab rails, with grips on both the deck and bottom, provide optimal hold for board-off tricks.
Outline, Rocker, and Kick Tail
The board has a moderate to high rocker with a single concave that transitions into a V behind the front fins. The outline is slightly wider than the Klokhouse Noseless, which improves rail grip and lets you load the board effectively for pop. The kick tail releases the board for rotations and makes reverse landings much easier.
White Line Construction
The White Line range offers Appletree's best-selling models in their proven standard construction. The exclusive 50K closed-cell foam core is wrapped in a hex-skin sandwich: a structural fibreglass layer, a flexible hex-skin honeycomb, and a 45° outer layer. The bottom is left without the honeycomb to ensure maximum flex. A reinforcement patch under the front foot adds extra durability where it's needed most.

The shape is exactly the same. The White Line uses the standard hex-skin construction with a white finish, includes a deck pad, and is ready to ship. The Custom version allows you to choose your own colors, reinforcement options, and dimensions, with a production time of about 8 weeks.
Both are Appletree strapless boards, but the Applino V2 is more freestyle-focused. It's snappier and more agile, with double grab rails and a kick tail designed for tricks. The Klokhouse Noseless, in contrast, is more of an allround, versatile board better suited to pure wave riding. The Applino V2 also has a slightly wider outline.

Absolutely. The hex-skin construction with 50K foam is specifically designed for the demands of kitesurfing. It's more than strong enough for daily riding, including strapless freestyle. You may see minor heel dents over time, but this is normal and doesn't affect the board's structural integrity.
