F-ONE developed the ROCKET FREE range for the emerging disciplines of freefly and downwind. In these riding styles, freedom is key: the wing or paddle is only used to get on foil before being packed away or flagged out, letting you ride the swells and the ocean's energy completely unassisted.
Long Shape for Maximum Glide
The ROCKET FREE DW takes the fundamentals of the MIDLENGTH (natural fore/aft balance, stability, glide) and pushes them further. Its longer shape and stretched outline significantly increase its glide. The step tail and kicktail help you get up to speed quickly and soften any touchdowns.
Stability and Easy Take-offs
The slightly concave deck gives you excellent control without adding unnecessary thickness. The width-to-thickness ratio strikes a perfect balance between stability and acceleration, even when underpowered. The wider nose and squarer rails increase lift and forgiveness, boosting your confidence in choppy water.
Full Bamboo Deck Construction
The Full Bamboo construction uses the natural properties of bamboo veneers, layered between fibreglass, to create a strong, durable, and lightweight board. Twin-Tracks System
